FAFSA

In distributing aid dollars, the basic concern is financial need; therefore, parents and/or students should submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), Llenar una FAFSA en Español. This form has complete instructions and mailing directions and allows all applicants to be considered for each type of aid for which they are eligible according to federal and state regulations. New students must also complete an Application for Admission to Moraine Park Technical College and be accepted into an eligible program.

• Applications for financial aid must be made for each academic year.
• The preferred processing deadline is May 1 of the prior year, but applications will still be accepted after that time. Early applicants will be given first consideration.
• Applicants for financial aid must be enrolled half-time (6 credits) or more to be eligible in most cases.
• Applicants must make satisfactory academic progress for continued aid eligibility. Withdrawals during refund periods will require comparable refunds to aid programs.
