Tech Prep
What is Tech Prep?
It is a great opportunity to start earning credits while you're still in high school. Tech Prep is a course offering agreement made between individual public high schools and Moraine Park Technical College. You can take select classes without ever leaving your high school to begin earning college credit toward Moraine Park programs at no cost. What an opportunity! Course offering agreements (articulation) are in place with area high schools for both transcripted and advanced standing opportunities.
Moraine Park currently offers 69 college courses in area public high schools; 63 transcripted credit courses and 6 advanced standing courses. In 2007-2008, 2536 students earned technical college credit and 325 students earned advanced standing . See your counselor to enroll in a Tech Prep class at your school.
