English Language Learning (ELL) Basic Education Instructor
Location: Moraine Park Technical College, Fond du Lac Campus, 235 North National Avenue
Applications are being accepted for an ELL Call Staff Basic Education Instructor at Moraine Park Technical College’s Fond du Lac Campus. Knowledge of second language acquisition and acculturation processes, techniques for teaching English, reading, and content to second language learners is desired. Native or near-native proficiency in all the skills of understanding, speaking, reading and writing in English is required. Bilingualism (English/Spanish) is an asset, not a requirement.
Instruction hours are Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:00 – 8:30 p.m., starting immediately. A Bachelor’s degree and computer skills are required. Certification is typically granted with a minor or 20 semester credits in any ONE of the following: English, Speech, Elementary Education, Foreign Language Instruction, or Reading Instruction.
