Assistant 1 – TEE Bus

 

Job Duties & Characteristics:

  1. Drive the mobile technology lab (TEE Bus) to the requested destination(s) and back.
  2. Set-up of the mobile technology lab.
  3. Provide security for the mobile technology lab to ensure safety of equipment.

 

Required Qualifications: 

  1. Must possess a valid Wisconsin drivers license and be insurable through Moraine Park
  2. Ability to recognize mechanical trouble. 
  3. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
  4. Ability to work responsibility and independently.

 

Required Training: Training on the equipment is provided.

Required Experience: Experience driving an RV or similar vehicle.


Hourly rate: $8.75

 

  

Temporary Housekeeper – Evenings, Beaver Dam Campus


Hours: Monday through Thursday 6:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.; Friday 6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
Available: immediately

 

Hourly Rate: $8.75/hour

 

This position performs routine custodial duties throughout the building, and other cleaning as needed. Previous cleaning experience a plus.

 
   

Temporary Assistant 2 – Enrollment Management, West Bend Campus

The primary function of this position is to perform a variety of administrative and technical activities that provide office support and back-up to the West Bend campus College Relations and Enrollment Management department. The hours of these positions are sporadic, as needed and may vary from week to week. Temporary employees must work less than 600 hours year.


Characteristic Duties / Responsibilities:
  1. Perform accurate data entry of student prospect information into college system.
  2. Provide customer service to students, staff and the general public by responding to basic questions on the telephone and in person.
  3. Schedule appointments and operate office equipment such as copy and fax machines.
 
Qualifications/Training/Experience:
  1. Knowledge and experience of basic office procedures and equipment.
  2. Experience with Microsoft Office.
  3. The ability to type 40 wpm.
  4. The ability to organize, plan and prioritize responsibilities, with interruptions and limited supervision.

 

Hourly Rate: $9.50

Information Technology Intern - Resource Development Dept., Fond du Lac Campus

This position's hours are flexible between 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., for a total of 15 - 20 hours per week for three to six months.  Temporary employees must work less than 600 hours year.


Characteristic Duties / Responsibilities:
  1. Evaluate and suggest improvements to increase the accessibility and usability of the intranet website.
  2. Perform site maintenance including link checking, code and accessibility and validation and content updating.
  3. Create site maintenance documentation.
  4. Provide training on content updating to Administrative Assistant - Resource Development.
  5. Work with Resource Development staff to create an information architecture for data storage on the structure and conventions to use for storage of electronic data that is part of the intranet website.
  6. Create design prototype, including graphic design, site navigation, and layout of content for web sites.

Qualifications/Training/Experience:

  1. A student earning college credit for this internship, in their last semester of an information technology related program.
  2. Proficient in the use of Dream Weaver and PhotoShop to create pages and update content on pages.
  3. Ability to read and write code:  DHTML, DHTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP.
  4. Understanding of screen/graphics resolution, image compression, typography, web ready content and basic graphic design principles.
  5. Knowledge and experience in website workflow and documentation process.

 

Hourly Rate: $6.50
