GED/HSED Employability Skills

Attend the GED/HSED Orientation first.  Sign up to attend one of the Employability Skills sessions and bring the completed chapters 3-7 of the "Finding A Job" workbook with you to class.  If chapters 3-7 are not completed before class, you will be asked to reschedule.

Career Planning
One-day and evening sessions are available.  The day session includes assessments of interests (what you like), abilities (what you are good at), values (what's important to you), and personality (your natural gifts).   The evening session assesses interest and abilities.  Both sessions include individual planning of the next steps in establishing and meeting your career goals.

              
Aptitude Assessment

This three-hour session focuses on assessing your interests (what you like) and aptitudes (what you are good at). The results include a printout of matching career options you can explore.
