Academic Competitiveness Grant

The Academic Competitiveness Grant, Section 401A of the "Higher Education Reconilliation Act of 2005,"
establishes a new federal-aid program that has been created and may benefit eligible Moraine Park students
attending full-time in associate degree programs.

This program is for students who have completed a rigorous progam of high school study to include math/science and a year of foreign language.

The Financial Aid Office expects to be able to nominate first- and second-year students for this program starting in Fall 2006.
Students must complete the 2006-2007 FAFSA and Financial Aid Survey form to have their eligibility evaluated.
