Establishing a Designated Scholarship

Over the past three years, over $100,000 annually has been distributed to students in the form of scholarships. Scholarships can easily be established through the Foundation’s annual fund or through the creation of an endowed scholarship. An endowed scholarship may be established through a single gift or a pledge commitment over an agreed upon period of time. Donors can establish awarding criteria for a specific campus, instructional program or other targeted group. A designated scholarship can be established in the name of the donor or in honor of another individual.

Distribution of Designated Annual and Endowed Scholarships: A designated scholarship is awarded annually in the amount of the donation. An endowed scholarship provides perpetual scholarships from the earning on a fund principal of $10,000 or more.
