Instructional Technology

The Instructional Technology area incorporates leading-edge technology into instructional programs and provides technology training and technical support for faculty and staff. Through input from advisory committee members, trends are analyzed relating to the technical proficiency of employees. A Faculty Technology Training plan is continuously updated to stay consistent with today's changing technology.

Educational and training needs are also met by maintaining insturctional hardware, software and equipment. Long-range upgrading plans are developed to ensure that technology in labs, clasroom resource centers and staff offices remain current. In addition, we maintain a large database used to solicit ideas for using technology in the classroom and to rate each classroom according to its technology capabilities. Strong team relationships guarantee continued cooperation between the Instructional Technology and Informational Technology areas.
