Strategic Planning
Moraine Park's strategic planning process follows a specific planning framework. High level vision, mission, goals and value statements are captured in the College's One Vision brochure. In addition, annual outcomes are defined aligning with each of the College's goals. Initiatives are developed representing annual tactics that staff implement to directly meet the annual outcomes and long-term goals of Moraine Park.

College Initiatives
College initiatives
represent annual tactics that staff implement to directly meet the annual
outcomes and the long-term goals of Moraine Park. College initiative ideas
are generated by work teams and constitute ideas from all functions and
employee groups of the College. Some initiatives require new budget
resources; others do not. All ideas are forwarded to the President's Cabinet
for consideration. After careful deliberation, initiatives that have the
greatest impact on College goals are approved by the President's Cabinet.
College initiatives are communicated to stakeholders in the College's
Institutional Plan and Budget. The budget document depicts the direct link
that the institutional planning process has with overall budget development.
