Moraine Park’s strategic planning process follows a specific planning framework, and includes high level vision, mission, strategic priority, and goal statements. Initiatives are developed representing annual tactics that staff implement to directly meet the strategic priorities and annual goals of Moraine Park.

College Initiatives

College initiatives represent annual tactics that staff implement to directly meet the annual goals and the long-term strategic priorities of Moraine Park. College initiatives are generated by work teams and constitute ideas from all functions and employee groups of the College. Some initiatives require new budget resources; others do not. All budget initiatives are reviewed by the unit Vice Presidents, then discussed with the President, and forwarded to the President’s Cabinet for final consideration.

College initiatives are communicated to stakeholders in the College’s Institutional Plan and Budget. The budget document depicts the direct link that the institutional planning process has with overall budget development.
